Travellers ask AI where to go. Does it send them to you?

Ask ChatGPT or Google for the best things to do, and the answer names two or three businesses. HeyShortlist shows Otago and Fiordland operators whether they're one of them, who's named instead, and what to fix.

How it works

  1. 1

We ask the questions travellers ask

Every week, real traveller questions about your category and area go to ChatGPT, Google's AI Overviews, Gemini and Perplexity, several times each, because answers vary.

  2. 2

    We record who gets named

Which businesses each answer names, in what order, and which websites the AI relied on to choose them.

  3. 3

    You see what to fix

Your page shows the real answers with your name highlighted, who appears instead of you, and a fix list built from the sites the AI trusts.
